What's Included in Our House Plan Set?
1. Cover Sheet
The cover sheet includes an artistic rendering of the front of your home, helping you picture its overall appearance before construction begins.
2. Foundation Plan
The foundation plan shows dimensions for the foundation, load-bearing walls and footings, along with sections, notes and construction details.
3. Floor Plans
The floor plans show room layouts, wall dimensions, door and window schedules, and suggested plumbing fixture locations. References connect the floor plans to the corresponding elevations and section drawings.
4. Elevation
The elevations show the front, rear, left and right sides of your home, including exterior details and relevant height dimensions.
5. Roof Plan
The roof plan shows the roof from above, including the pitch of each slope and the locations of ridges, hips and valleys.
6. Electrical Plan
The electrical plan shows suggested locations for lighting fixtures, switches and outlets to help you plan how each room will function.
7. Cross Section/Wall Detail
The cross section and wall details show changes in ceiling heights, roof slopes and floor levels, with dimensions referenced to the finished slab or floor.
